Nature Center hours vary seasonally. Currently they are: Wed - Sun, Noon - 4 PM, closed Monday and Tuesday from now through Labor Day.
Programs and Events
July 20, 4PM - 6PM and 7PM - 9PM: Paddling Programs in the Campground --- Boats are limited. First come, first served. 4PM - 6PM: Stand-up Paddle Boards. 7PM - 9PM: Kayak and Canoeing. Equipment and instruction provided.
July 21, 10AM: Guided Wildlife& History Hike --- Meet at the Nature Center. Hike to the Fossil Field and back. Total miles ~5.
July 27, 8AM: Youth Fishing Derby Rescheduled --- at the Youth Fishing Pond near the Marina. Registration starts at 8:00 AM, fishing begins at 9:00 AM. Instructors are on hand to help you learn the ins and outs of this lifelong hobby. The Youth Pond is stocked with huge fish for this FREE, special event! Fish, bait, lunch, and prizes are provided by the Harveysburg Police Department.
August 10: Meteor Shower Camp Out on the Caesar Creek Beach --- Watch the peak of the Perseid Meteor Shower on the beach. Enjoy star-gazing, games, a bonfire, and more! Camp this one night on the beach for free. Food and drinks will be available. All funds raised support the Nature Center through the Nature Center Association. August 3, 9PM - Midnight: Nature Night! --- Join Park Rangers with a fun night of bat working and mothing. For more information call the Visitor Center, 513-897-1050.
July 15 - 19, 9AM to 3PM daily: Pioneer Day Camp The Caesar's Creek Pioneer Village Day Camp is an amazing camp for your child who is interested in the Pioneer Lifestyle. For more details, visit the Pioneer Village Pioneer Day Camp page.
July 27 10AM - 6PM: Timeline Through History --- The event will present a timeline which encompasses the Revolutionary War, War of 1812, World War I, and Civil War. These time periods will be represented in their own areas of the Village where there will be Historical Interpreters and demonstrations from each of these periods of time. Admission $5 per person. Caesar Creek State Park is highlighted by clear blue waters, scattered woodlands, meadows, and steep ravines.
