Nature Center hours vary seasonally.  Current hours are:  Saturday and Sunday, Noon - 4 PM

Programs and Events

  • Caesar Creek State Park and Nature Center

September 22, 10AM:  Horse Trail Hike --- Meet at the Horsemen's Camp parking lot off Furnas-Oglesby Road.  Total miles will be about 10.

October 26 - 27:  Halloween Camp Out ---  Caesar Creek Campgrounds.  Trick-or-Treat, campsite decorating, costume contest, haunted trail, hay wagon rides, and more. See separate flyer for details*. Reserve your Campsite early before they’re sold out!

  • U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Visitor Center

September 21, Noon to 2PM:  Prairie Seed Collecting --- Join the Park Rangers and learn about Ohio’s native prairie plants. Come prepared to collect prairie seeds, which will be used to restore other prairies in southwest Ohio. Wear long pants, bug repellant and sunscreen. Bring gloves and small brown paper bags if you have them. For more information call the Visitor Center, 513-897-1050.

  • Caesar Creek Pioneer Village

October 19 & 20, 10AM - 4PM:  Harvest Festival and Gathering ---Celebrate the harvest as the village is preparing for winter.  Take part in the activities of the early 1800's.   Admission: $5.  For more details, visit the Pioneer Village Harvest Festival & Gathering page.

Caesar Creek State Park is highlighted by clear blue waters, scattered woodlands, meadows, and steep ravines. The 3,741-acre park offers some of the finest outdoor recreation in southwest Ohio including camping, fishing, boating, hunting, swimming, trails for hiking, biking, and horses -- plus a nature center. ​There is always something to do, so check out the activities, special events, and volunteer pages.
