Oct. 15 Perimeter Hike, 10am. A guided hike on the 12.7-mile Perimeter Trail
through some of our most scenic areas in the fall. Discover more about the
woods and wildlife in our area, and see Caesar Creek from a whole new point
of view. Free; open to the public. Meet at the 50 Springs parking lot.
Oct. 27th-29Halloween Camp Out. Trick or Treat, campsite decorating, Haunted Trail,
Live Creepy Critters with the Park Naturalist, and more. Reserve your campsite
Nov. 11 Cast Iron Cookout, 11am-1pm. Bring your family and learn how to cook a
meal over an open fire at the Nature Center. All equipment and instruction will
be provided. Cost: $15. Preregister by calling the Nature Center.
Dec. 9 Holiday Traditions, 10am-Noon or 1-3pm. Create one-of-a-kind Christmas
decorations with local, natural materials to take home and share with your
loved ones. Space is limited, so reserve your seat early at the Nature Center.

Sep. 22 - 23: 9th Annual BioBlitz!
Friday September 22nd - Saturday, September 23rd, 6:00pm – 6:00pm
Park rangers, local experts, and citizen scientists just like you will be coming together to participate in BioBlitz! BioBlitz is an event that partners local experts of all kinds with citizen scientists to find and identify as many species of life around the park within a 24hr period! Participants have a chance to get up close and personal with fish, birds, bugs, and even fungus as they strive to find as many species as possible. Kids have a chance to win prizes as they find species. This event is great for all ages and expertise levels! Free camping is available upon registration.
